"MY DAILY ROUTINE"
Lesson plan
Aim:- to revise
vocabulary, to master usage of the
Present Simple Tense, make dialogues, teach
speaking about daily routine.
Instructional: to expand students' abilities of giving and
asking some pieces of advice from the others, to enrich vocabulary, to
develop writing, reading, listening and communicative skills.
Developing: to develop culture of
communication and speech reaction of pupils, to teach students how to be able to acquire information from the pictures. To teach pupils to express their own views and assumptions, to work in
groups, to develop students' attention, critical thinking, memory and
intelligence.
Educational: to bring up the independence, interest in learning a
foreign language, clarity of expression, to educate polite attitude to
each other.

Procedure
І. Greeting
Т: Good afternoon, everybody! I'm glad to see you! How are you? Sit down, please.
Cl: Good
afternoon! We are glad to see you, too. We are fine, thank you.
Warm-up
Т: The
topic of our today's lesson is " My
daily routine ". By the end of
the lesson you should be able:

recognize and understand learnt words and word combinations in the text;

exchanges about the topic of today's lesson.

Simple Tense.
Warm up: name
two things. Teacher reads a sentence
and students should name two things which
are associated with that sentence.
Pen pencil (You can write with it).
Flower scent
(Something that you can smell).
Love happiness (Something you can feel).
Wallet mirror (Something small you can carry
in your bag).
Cows hens (Domestic animals).
Backpack clothes
(You take it when you
travel).
Noise music (Something very loud).
Phonetic
drills: the teacher suggests students to choose from three or
four words the one that does not have a certain sound (extra word).
For example:
meet, seal, sit, veal (extra word sit)
bat, pen, sad (extra word pen).
steal, still, meal.
took, look, book, blood.
food,
put, foot, boot.
Kill,
feel, till, will.
ІІ. The
main part of the lesson.
Check on
homework: acting out
the dialogues.
Vocabulary revision
Look at the pictures. Say what
do they usually do at the certain time.
Grammar
revision
Students watch Power Point
Presentation, revising the rules of formation of the Present Simple Tense.
Game based
on reading, writing skills, critical thinking, including group work. For this
game pupils should use speed, order, choice. Teacher hands out some pieces of paper
for four groups and they make the sentences as quick as possible in
correct order. Then they match their ready
sentences with the pictures on the board.

Tic Tac
Toe game (Writing, listening and vocabulary are practised).
Teacher divides class into 2 teams «Crosses/
Noughts». Students fill the grids with
the words on the given topic. Each team makes a sentence with one of
the words in grids. If the sentence contains some mistakes, this team gives
opportunity for their opponents. They go on until some team will get one
vertical or horizontal line.

read the text and correct the false
sentences.
